Multi-Property Sample has been owned and operated by our family since 1990. Here is a brief history of how our business became the unique Sample it is, today.
Early Days
Multi-Property Sample began in 1990, when Robert and Martha Smith constructed four cabins on twenty secluded acres in the backwoods of Sundance, Utah. Their intention was to offer guests convenient access to the many outdoor attractions found along the Wasatch Range.
A few years later, the couple was able to purchase an adjacent ten acre parcel of land. There, they added a small number of RV sites to compliment the cabins.
In 2010, Robert and Martha retired, leaving the day-to-day operation of the Sample to their adopted son, Joe, and his wife, Mary.
Today's Sample
Since taking over Multi-Property Sample, Joe and Mary have focused on making their guests' stays as convenient and enjoyable as possible. Rather than add additional cabins or RV sites, which could make the Sample feel cramped, they added a small general store to the property. This allows guests to easily purchase needed supplies, without having to travel into town.
Because of the Sample's proximity to a number of alpine lakes, and because of many requests from guests, Joe and Mary recently began offering kayak rentals. Of course, kayaking is primarily a summer activity. In the future, snowmobile rentals will be available for our valued winter customers.
